Vaccines in School

This Bill gives information about the required doses, recommended ages for administering immunizations, authorized representatives from health agencies who can sign laboratory evidence of immunity, and other necessary provisions to implement the article. The bill lists certain immunizations that are not required for school attendance, including human papillomavirus, COVID-19, or any variant of COVID-19 immunizations, and those with a United States Food and Drug Administration emergency use authorization. However, any immunization required for in-person school attendance must be prescribed through a rule adopted by the director. 1
