The American Dream and Promise Act of 2021 rewards immigrants who entered the country illegally as minors with amnesty and full access to taxpayer-funded benefits. Under the bill, immigrants who entered the country prior to 2021 when they were supposedly under the age of 18, are provided a pathway to citizenship, including voting rights and eligibility for welfare and subsidized college. The bill even grants amnesty to immigrants with criminal histories (up to two misdemeanor offenses.) 1
